Glendale Humane Society Receives $10,000

Make no bones about it; Dr. Phil has always been a dog lover. Because of his concern for the well-being of animals, he and the Dr. Phil Foundation awarded the Glendale Humane Society with a $10,000 donation to help construct a new play area to be called Maggie’s Bark Yard. The play yard’s name comes from Dr. Phil and Robin’s beloved dog, Maggie.

The new grounds, which opened in June, feature a granite surface as well as a dog-sized pool, a shade area and murals adorning the walls. For more information about the Glendale Humane Society, or to learn how you can get involved, click here.
