Beautiful Teeba

Teeba is a courageous 8-year-old Iraqi girl who miraculously survived a car bombing, leaving her with second-degree burns all over her head and face. Barbara and Tim, an American couple, adopted the child and set out to provide her with the surgeries she needed. Says Barbara, "When I first saw her, I didn't see the scars. I looked at her, and I thought, you are just so beautiful and precious."

Teeba appeared on the episode "Ask the Doctors," and Dr. Phil praised the little girl for her fortitude. As a surprise, he provided wagons full of toys from Barbie and American Girl. She was also treated to dinner with Ariel and some of her princess friends at Disneyland. Dr. Phil didn't want Teeba's parents, Barbara and Tim, to feel left out, so he surprised them with a six days and five nights all-inclusive vacation to Azule Beach on the Riviera Maya, Mexico from Karisma Hotels and Resorts.

Now almost 9 and 14 surgeries later, Teeba is leading a new life! She speaks English fluently and enjoys horseback riding.
