Spreading Christmas Cheer

For two consecutive years, Dr. Phil and Robin served as national spokespersons for the U.S. Marine Corps Reserve Toys for Tots Program. The mission of the program is to collect new, unwrapped toys during October, November and December each year, and distribute those toys as Christmas gifts to children in need.

During the 2007 Christmas season, people from across the country responded to Dr. Phil and Robin’s involvement in the program by donating a record $36.4 million dollars. As a result of this generous outpouring, 7.9 million children in 604 communities received 17,000,000 toys.
